The administration at GPA-NB urges caution when registering for dual credit for the following reasons:
The grade students earn in dual credit courses will stay on their permanent college transcript.
TAKING TOO MANY DUAL CREDIT Courses CAN JEOPARDIZE QUALIFYING FOR A GRACE PREP ACADEMY DIPLOMA.
Dual credit teachers expect students to be operating at college level in skill, thought, and emotion.
Dual credit courses are not generally taught from a Christian worldview and may push boundaries.
Dual credit teachers may operate at varying levels of concern for their students.
NOTE: If you have already enrolled and/or completed coursework at a college for dual credit, please advise the Academic Coordinator at GPA-NB so your graduation pathway can be updated. When the class is completed, an official college transcript will have to be requested and sent to GPA-NB to have this class listed on your student’s GPA-NB high school transcript for graduation. We will also need a numerical grade from your dual credit professor to properly calculate your grade point average.
